International Dairy Week - a fabulous expo has concluded for 2012
IDW 2012 has finished up following a week of fabulous activities and events for all in the dairy industry showcasing the very best of Australian dairy cattle, machinery, products and innovations.

IDW is the largest annual dairy cattle show and sale in the Southern Hemisphere and is amongst the top five shows in the world. It is indisputably the most prestigious event in the dairy industry, showcasing the best quality dairy cattle to over 4,000 visitors from every state in Australia and over 20 countries internationally.
International Dairy Week (IDW) celebrated its 21st birthday in January 2012. To mark this occasion we will once again be showcasing the best from Australia's dairy breeds including Holstein, Jersey, Illawarra, Brown Swiss, Ayrshire and Guernsey. We invite all to enjoy, experience, take part in and most of all, to help us celebrate our 21st birthday.
Australia's dairy men and women bring their top stock to compete in a display of over 1,000 dairy cattle from over 6 breeds A huge trade expo is planned for the week, as well as seminars with innovative and informative speakers, both Australian and International which, in addition to displays from all the leading genetic, breeding, herd assocations, livestock marketing, animal health and other leading companies and property tours showcase the innovative and sustainable practices to keep Australia at the forefront of dairy production.
IDW is extremely proud to promote the dairy industry to the world, an activity which provides an invaluable opportunity to highlight the magnitude of the industry internationally, and showcase the array of quality cattle that is unprecedented by any other event in Australia.

Workshops and Seminars at IDW - 17, 18 & 19 January 2012
A series of free 1 hour workshops and seminars will be held in the Ballantyne Centre at Tatura Park during IDW. Morning seminars will start at 10.30 am and afternoon seminars will start at 2.00 pm. An array of experienced and knowledgeable speakers will be sharing their wisdom and guidance on a number of relevant topics to the dairy industry. Machinery & Trade Expo - 18th and 19th January 2012
Over 45 companies will be displaying machinery, technology, innovation, products and services all designed specifically for the dairy farmer on the main oval at Tatura Park on Wednesday and Thursday. Gates open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Entry is free.
